Acceptance

  Testimonials
Acceptance is so easy.  It is so easy to accept things they way they are, at this point in time, and them being
exactly what they are.  Yet it is often very hard to do because we want to hold on to the past.

Everything is exactly what it is!  We do not always get the results we desire.  Conditions are not always what
we want them to be.  Outcomes may be less than we expected.  But we can – we have to -- always accept
where we are and what has happened.  Then we can move ahead.

If we don’t accept things exactly as they are, we become resent-filled. We begin wasting time and energy in
anger about something over which we no longer have, or had, control.  Instead of resenting what has happened,
accept what is.  Only then we put ourselves in a position to do something about it.

The quickest way for us to move forward is to be realistic concerning where we are.  By accepting what is, we
can make positive use of both the victories and defeats in our lives.  When we let go of our resentment and anger
for what has been in the past, we can see and begin being the best of what can be.  Awareness, acceptance and
action are essential with what we have to do to begin creating positive possibilities.

When we fully accept where we are, we enable ourselves to make positive and productive use of everything available
to us.  By accepting what is, we stop fighting the battles that are already over.  Accept what is, and we begin to win.
